NOTE:
- In season 1, the protagonist's brother sometimes makes sexist comments, but his comments are always challenged, and evolves out of this mindset by season 2. In that season, another exceptionally strong female character named Toph joins the protagonists, too.
- There is a film adaptation of this series, but having been transformed in a much more male-centered manner, is not appropriate for this list.
